Thanksgiving was great, a quiet dinner with the immediate family and then dessert at my aunts with the rest of the family. In between the laughter, talk (more like yelling in my family), and eating I managed to squeeze in a few pix...one of me and my siblings and on of my dad with all 3 of us. More to come...

The Pearson Family
Operation Love Reunited strikes again.
I took these b4 I left on vacation and finally had some time to myself to get them processed and posted.
To Mrs. Pearson, as soon as I get home I will send away for the photo album for your husband. Also I will send you and e-mail with more of the shots I took, these r just a few. Enjoy!! My fave is the one with your oldest daughter's head on her daddy's lap, Priceless.

A typical Sunday dinner at home
So...this is Sunday dinner with the family back home...Oh how I miss being home, I miss my family so much, and food is a big reason why. lol. We gather around food and celebrate life, talk about the day, reminisce about others, laugh at some dumb thing one of us did, etc. I'm going to miss everyone when I go back to Hawaii, I don't even want to think about it. I love u fam!!!

Our new friend "Tom"
Tom or as he is known to many TomTom, or GPS, has been real good to us. Hasn't let us down yet, even when my husband doubts his directions he realizes Tom was right.
We drove from Tampa to Pensacola this week, and it wasn't a bad ride...my baby boy was great and he was my biggest fear and reason for not wanting to take this drive, but he did well. The girls have each other so they had ways of staying busy by playing fighting or sleeping.
We stopped at our fave spot "Denny's" a few times...we had fun on this 6 hr family fun time drive...
...tomorrow we head back to Tampa, YAY!!!!!!!!!! I miss my family, and Pensacola is a lil too cold for my taste, I grew up in NY and STILL can't take the cold. I'm spoiled by the tropics so 70 is too cold for me, not to mention I'm normally a cold person anyway.
See u soon family!!!

Anniversary gift
So I'm really a simple girl. I don't ask for much, I'm a cheap date, don't like flowers, my idea of a good time is dinner at home, a movie and a nice spot on the couch for me and my husband Mario. But when I see something I really like or want I wont rest till I get it, I begin to center my life around this one object that I KNOW I need, and can't function without. lol. This time around it was my canon 50mm 1.4 lens. And my wonderful husband always wanting to surprise me in some way got me good. My brother was in on it too. He gave it to me a lil early so that I would have it in time for our son's b-day party this yr. So this is the new addition to my family. THANK YOU BABY! I LOVE YOU!!!! And thanx for sidelining me Chuck. lol.
Oh and here is a shot taken with it...I LOVE how crisp the shots look!! My baby boy in the rear view mirror.

Late post
So like I said b4 my baby boy turned one this week and so on Monday I did a lil mini shoot, and to be honest I was surprised I got the pix I got, because he does NOT like to sit still let alone take direction, and now I find he doesn't like to be dirty. lol. So these r just a few of the few I was able to take of him while he was still semi cooperative.
B4 that day though my dad had a Veterans day service and my husband and brother took part in this ceremony. It was a tear jerker. This is a shot of my husband and brother saluting the flag and one of my dad the pastor of his own church here in Tampa!
Oh and then I couldn't post without one of my nephew Jonah...I love this lil boy. H
e looks just like my sis when she was a baby so it's sort of like holding her all over again. (OK, there is a LIL of u in there Joey)lol.

It's my anniversary
10 years today...wow. I'm sure I'll have some pictures to share later on today after we do whatever he has planned for us to do, but I wanted to commemorate this momentous occasion. 10 years ago today we walked out of the Japanese JP's office perplexed, because we were handed a stack of signed papers and wondered "Is this it? Are we married?" lol. We were supposed to have a wedding this year, it was always the plan to mark ten years with the vows we never spoke, but then we got a surprise visit from the stork and had our son so the money meant for that wedding went to more important things. So now the plan is to mark our 15 years with a big celebration. By then we will be living back home and my husband MIGHT be retired from the AF. But today I wanted to say thank you to my husband Mario...thank you for putting up with me for 10 years, and for offering 10 more! I must be doing something right. I want to thank God for keeping us, for watching over us, and for blessing us. I vow to KEEP God in the middle of this relationship, to remain faithful, and to keep praying for us. I pray that we have MANY more years together...HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MY LOVE! See u tonight.
And because I couldn't leave u without a pic here's a pic of my parents dog Kelsey. For u Chuck...lol

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY BABY BOY!!!
Well the time has come...that bitter sweet moment when your baby becomes a toddler. I am so happy and yet so sad. I can't believe how fast time flew by, just yesterday I was in the delivery room, pushing this lil boy out and now he's running around the house tearing things up. I love him so much. I'm so happy to be able to share this day with my family here in Florida.
And I want to take the time right now to thank God for entrusting me with this precious lil boy. Thank u Lord that he is alive and well, thriving in our care, thank u for allowing me to meet him and love him, care for him and nourish him, I pray that he continue to thrive and continue to live happily in our care, I pray that he is destined for great things in you! AMEN!
These r just a few shots from his party we had on Saturday. Today I will be having a lil mini photo shoot with him and a cake...Oh boy, he can't stay still for NUTTIN so lets see how this goes...

Sour face
So I am on vacation now and I'm posting out of order...I was going to post the airport pix 1st and go on from there, but I had to post this now because it was so funny. We went to Olive Garden today (YAY ME) and while we waited we had some fruit, one of which was a lemon and I had a great idea to feed it to my baby boy...OMG...I laughed so hard that the pix came out blurry because I couldn't stop shaking with laughter, but u can see them, and his lil face...
Here he is tasting it:
Here he's thinking about what he just tasted:
"WOAH"
MY FAVORITE!
"Here take this back!"

I'm a posting fool now.
Who says I have to post once a day?? I'm breaking all the rules now and posting whenever the mood strikes, which lately, has been OFTEN.
We had a fair this past weekend on our base and the girls were SO LUCKY their dad came back because he talked me into taking them although they were grounded. :(
So my youngest (Mariel) is FINALLY tall enough to ride the big rides (poor thing has my moms "tiny" genes) so she chose this crazy wild, flip around, spin around ride called the "Fire Ball" fitting since Mariel is a lil spit fire like her mom.
This was their reaction after the ride...:
"Mommy, OMG That was GREAT"
It was worth taking them although they were grounded, they came out like me...I LOVE crazy flippy rides...as a matter of fact Mariel was destined to LOVE these rides because I was on one when I was 6 months pregnant with her. LOL. Couldn't stop me.

Beauty Marks
So I was cleaning the other day and my eldest daughter being her normal observant self noticed I had a beauty mark on my foot, and then she looked on her foot and she had the same one in the same spot on the same foot, then my youngest checked herself out and BAM she had the same one, same place same foot, ODD, but I figure picture/note worthy. lol.

Operation Love Reunited
OK I couldn't help myself, so here is my double post for today. This is the Swoveland family. This is just one of the ones I've been working on. I can't wait to get them done so I can mail the photo album out to this soldier who has to leave his family behind in order to protect their rights! God bless and protect this family during their year long separation!
Island Life
And she's back...after a LONG hiatus, due to technical difficulties, I am back!!
So, I am part of a program called Operation Love Reunited and I love this program. I get to meet other military families and capture some last moments together and then send an album to the soldier/airman/marine or sailor free of charge. I love being a part of this. So yesterday I went to a nice beach here called Haleiwa beach park, and met with a very nice couple. As I was waiting for them to change their wardrobe I snapped a few shots of what I was surrounded by and here is ONE of my faves. (I will post the couples pix later on today or tomorrow).
I am just so in love with Hawaii! This is by far the best assignment I have been blessed with. The scenery NEVER gets old!!! You can see scenes like this just by driving down a street, or making a turn off a road less traveled. I love it here, I'm not sure I ever want to leave!
