Motion Blur

I like shots like this...not sure y...maybe cause it shows my current state...hurried, blurred, fast paced...That's life for me right now, one moment I'm in paradise, the next I'm being whisked away to this desert, or so it feels like. You wouldn't know it by my tone but I AM happy. I am with family again, after 11 yrs of being away I am finally home, that's priceless!!

It's so hard, to say goodbye...

Some day's I'm good, others I just get a lil melancholy thinking about my Hawaii and the fact that I don't know when I will be back again. I know I will, but I know it wont be anytime soon. On the last day I took a walk out back behind my house and tried to absorb the sights, sounds and smells, so that on days like today I could think back to these things to help ease into transition. While I was walking I found a peice of siewalk chalk left behind by my girls. I drew some of my own sidewalk art "Aloha" means hello and can also mean goodbye:


I am HAPPY to be home, I have been wanting this for a long time, but that doesn't mean I don't miss my (other) home, my paradise. Yesterday it was 101 degrees here! I miss my tradewinds.

At the hotel I was staying at in Hawaii they had this cool magnifying glass on a pully type system, it slid across the picture so you could see up close.


Fast forward to the plane ride, We had to do SOMETHING to entertain him on the plane.:


Not sure what they were seeing. And that poor woman next to them had her ear talked off. Mwuahahaha, better her than me. lol.:


He did so well on the trip, he had a bag full of his favorite cars!:


Fast forward to yesterday, These r always outside my parents house. SO CUTE. Remind me of the Puerto Rican Coqui frog!:

Vacation Bible School

SO I have a job...well not really...but as part of dad's church I am now called a historian...so I get to do what I love in service to my God! A 100 yrs from now people will be members of this church and see the pictures I took years ago.

My 1st project VBS...I made it home just in time for the girls to go to VBS at their grandpa's church. They r having a blast. These are only a few pix more to come later.

LOL. This lil thing is SO CUTE!!! She's like a lil toy. My son had too much fun playing tug-o-war with her. "Finally something smaller than me" must have been what he was thinking. She is the cutest lil thing, given to my cousin as a gift from her boyfriend. Michelle remember what I said about if u ever go out of town again!!:

Aloha Good-Bye

I'm trying to play catch up here, since I left Hawaii and so you'll be seeing quite a few Hawaii pix for a while until I empty out my cards and files etc.

Mini me in the window...wonder what she was thinking as the movers were behind her taking our stuff away. They've done so well with moves b4 and this time was no different, they are definitely children of the military:


Lil fun here, they r NEVER allowed to jump on the beds but then again they have bunk beds so that would cause many ER visits if I allowed it. lol This was in the hotel:

This is Diamond head Crater, I wanted to hike this b4 I left, but it all happened so quick. One more thing to add to my list of things to do when I go back!

To be able to look down and see this, is just WOW. I'm glad I was able to see this when we were flying away from my Hawaii. Another thing to add: para sailing!

Night b4

It's been a while since I have posted and it has been killing me. We finally r staying somewhere that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for internet, sheesh. So we got word from the military 2 weeks ago that we got orders so we had 1 week to pack up and ship out. WE DID IT! With enough time to enjoy a few nights in a hotel in Waikiki. We had a blast, and We went out with a bang. But oh man I MISS HAWAII SO MUCH, The aloha spirit is lost on people here on the mainland. I feel like I am visiting here and belong to Hawaii. My heart will always be there and Hawaii IS my 2nd home. I WILL be back!! The night before we left I went outside (Our hotel was on the beach) and was fortunate enough to catch this gorgoeus moonlit night!!:


I wont be posting too often, untill I am settled in my new house...but from time to time I will be back! I miss my friends and my Hawai!! (I will pick back up with 52 POM hopefully next Fri)
