That's where I am now...so there is no where else to go, to look; but up, and see my father God looking down upon me saying "U ready for me to take over now?"

Doing it myself has gotten me nothing but heartache. It's done nothing but landed me flat on my face.

Food for the soul

Sancocho; in English stew. I've been out of sorts lately and when I got word that grandma was making this I was so happy. Seriously you have to pretty much beg her to make it because it takes a lot of work and a lot of ingredients. And her rule is u eat it at the house no take out (we affectionately named her the soup nazi: "NO SOUP FOR YOU!)" lol. THANK YOU GRANDMA I LOVE YOU! And I got the recipe to carry on the tradition!!! Ahhh, I feel better already.

A way out

I'm in a dark place right now. A place I want to get out of real quick, and normally my answer is to cut of all hurtful emotions and move on to the angry ones so that I can get past it faster. But I can't control my emotions any longer, not this time. This time I'm allowing myself to feel this all. Raw. And I feel like it's never going to end, I feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel...then I went driving to Orlando the other day and saw this scene...it's as if God were saying "there IS a light, follow it out of this pit u're in, I'm here waiting".

Thank You Lord for never giving up on me when I give up on myself and on you. For leading the way out.

Bring on summer

I've had about all I can take with this cold weather is this Florida or WHAT? Yeah, I know my NY people r like "WHATEVER" lol...but I've just come back from living in the tropics for almost 6 yrs my body has NOT acclimated well here at all. I miss my Hawaiian Breezes!! This is to remind of better days to come.

I was trying to take a pic for my 52 and E kept jumping all over me saying "Whah you doiiing mommy?" And to me this was the perfect time to catch my day with him. This kid loves me and I sooo love him!

Once...

...in a blue moon

I got a call..."quick go outside, there's a blue moon...it hasn't happened in 19 yrs"

I grab my camera, run outside...notice that the moon was NOT blue but in fact it was it's normal color...Baffled, I ask around (showing my stupidity) and was told "Um...the fact that the moon was full twice this month is y it's called a blue moon"

Oh...so THAT'S where the term "Once in a blue moon" comes from eh?

I'm an idiot.

There are days when I rather not climb out of bed, and then there are days like this when all I want to do is live and love. Happy moments like this, (so early in the morning) are rare but I enjoy them so! I miss them! I hope they become more frequent in the near future, til then a girl can hope. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! 2010 IS MY YEAR!
