A picnic with Grandma

Mr. handsome face had a picnic with his grandma today and he was so delighted to do so! Better her than me, I don't know how they handle the annoying flies! But I'm so glad she did this with him, he LOVED it...And I'm so glad I was here to capture the moment!

Kelly Flores

Kelly is a Christian Artist based out of Tampa Florida and she has a record dropping soon. I was privileged to be able to capture this young artist with my camera so she has a few images for her CD. (I better get an autograph soon before she blows up ;-) Here is a sneak peak Kels, enjoy!

Just some quick shots of my girls with their new back to school gear. We have style from opposite sides of the spectrum yet they tied it together with color :-) We have Preppy and conservative vs. Stylish and punk. These girls crack me up.

I took these in my "studio" in the garage, I'm learning to use lights...I'm still a huge fan of available or natural light, but I think it's best for me to know it all.

Throwing this one in just because, I love the catch lights in her eyes, and how they pop and cause she's beautiful. :-)

Evening Rituals

My precious angel Elias or Mr. handsome face as I called him since the beginning of my blogs about him. I love this boy, with a love that just surpasses all my understanding. This lil man keeps me on my toes and astonishes me daily with his wealth of knowledge of things that a 2 year old need not worry about. His eyes melt me every time he comes to ask for something and I just can't say no (but I do when I need to). It's been a while since I blogged about the kids so today is Elias' turn.

Joseph and Rosie Maternity shoot

This was my 1st ever maternity shoot and I'm well pleased with the images I got from the day despite the constant beat down from the sun, and despite walking away from my truck while it was still running for the 1st part of the shoot. No idea how that happened, or where my head is at these days. But thank Goodness she was still there waiting and no one took a joy ride in her.

Meet Joseph and Rosie, newly married they just had their 1 yr wedding anniversary and now they are pregnant with their first child, a son! I love them dearly because they are my family. Joseph is my cousin.

Fit for life

Hello world, It's been a while since I've posted anything...I've missed it and promise to get back to it again after about a week or two...so I'm almost back but not quite. This is supposed to be wordless Wed. But eh...I was hired by this man to grab a few snap shots of his physique because he competes in national and world wide competitions and from my understanding it's rare for his age (which is NOT old) but we know in this day and age 25 is old to some...pssssh go figure. And so I did and I am well pleased with the images as I hope he is.

Bitter sweet for me, I had fun although at times it was a task to get up and grab a shot when other pressing matters were at hand, but I DID IT! And I am proud. But it's over :(...Is this the end?! I hope not...365 perhaps? No time soon, but soon enough, I have many ideas swarming in my head.

I'm debating on starting a 365 project, not because I have no ideas, I have BIG IDEAS, but it's the time it takes and dedication/commitment and I struggle with that right now having a 2 yr old in my house, and looking for work etc. I need to find a way! Stay tuned....

I think we all hit this point in life where choices we made go against changes u make later in life, or vice verse. Well at the moment this is where I stand. I wont say good vs. evil, but just Spirit and Flesh at odds, as always, the age old battle. I know who's gonna win, but still I fight.

My baby girl is getting so big!!! And CRAZY hyper. OMG is she hyper...she can't be out of her kennel for more than a minute without her jumping all over you, scratching you, running from you as you walk, barking at you, and jumping on you. Crazy dog, perfect for with my kids. I love her pit bull head! I love my baby!

It's so lonely when you don't even know yourself. But isn't that the point of loneliness? To get to know yourself? I mean all you have is time at this point. Why not get to know yourself, why not get healthy, mentally and physically. I think loneliness and the learning process are quite cathartic, for me anyway. I choose to use my time wisely, to meditate on God.
