Future blackmail

 
One day my son is going to have deep rooted issues and it will be my fault, BUT I can't help it, he is so friggin cute, I have the camera in his face EVERY DAY! He will either be VERY conceited or really shy because of how much I am in his face...My walls look like a shrine in his honor. My baby boy discovered himself during bath time the other night and now I am told I will never have to buy him a new toy again. :| He was just so cute laying there as the water drained from his new rubber ducky tub, staring down at "it". And like any curious being, of course he had to grab at it, or shall I say like any MAN. lol. I love my baby boy. I sent the pic to his dad and as expected he was proud! lol. Boy oh boy. Needless to say he better never step out of line with me while his girlfriend is around...heh!

Surprise to me

I have a lil ticker thingy on my page that tells me where I get hits from, which I put up for what reason; I DON'T KNOW because I never expected to get hits...but I actually have one from GERMANY! How cool is that? HALLO to my German peeps out there. lol. I lived there for 3 years and if it wasn't for my wanting my kids to know their grandparents and visa versa I would SO go back in a heartbeat. I LOVED my time in Germany. I miss it so much!!! The food was out of this world...the clothes r top notch and out b4 anyone in the western world see's em, the people r great, friendly, love kids and Christmas...the towns r historic and beautiful...MAN I'm convincing myself to go back again....I WISH! Well anyway, I just wanted to thank all who read and actually come back to read more of my ramblings. AND u leave comments too...HOW COOL IS THAT?! lol.

{My bliss}

I LOVE my baby boy...but it's moments like this that give me peace. Not because he's a pain or he drives me nuts, but it's the only time I get to stare at him and admire what my husband and I created through our love without him trying to leap out of my arms, crawl all over me, or crawl away. I am so in love with him, I have never known a love like this...I thank my creator EVERY DAY for this lil blessing in my life, and for the privilege to raise him into a man.

Happy Fathers day my love! We miss u so much! (I miss u like worms miss dirt).

My boys

I'm just really missing my hubby so bad right now...Looking through my pix and found this one we took a few days b4 he left. I want him home when where he belongs!!! In my arms, in my bed, on my couch with our children. We all miss him so much...the girls like to talk about silly stuff he does and it always puts a smile on my face. It's stuff that normally gets on my nerves and now that he's gone I miss so much...Like those stupid wet willies he gives me NOT with his finger but his tongue, straight in my ear...UGH I HATE those, but I'd give anything to have him here trying as I fight him off. I MISS U BABY!!!!

CRAZY TONGUE!

SO my baby boy found his tongue!! And now he is having a BLAST with it...he massages his gums with it, he twists it, he gives big wet kisses with it. I sent a picture to his dad titled "Fresh boy" and he replies "Like his father"...men find the oddest things to be proud of. lol. Like take for instance the sonogram...we went to get a 3D sonogram of E and well OF COURSE it looked huge it was in 3D for God's sake. But nope...he was so proud, I think it was the proudest moment besides any in his military career. Men r funny that way. A group us ladies were just discussing that very fact last night. ALL men think alike...Makes me miss my baby even more...If u're reading this pa, I LOVE U SO MUCH, DON'T EVER CHANGE!!!!

Not sure what the child labor laws r in Hawaii, but I'm quite sure I don't care. I figure it's time these girls start earning their keep...no more free rides...Got Mariel brining in the trash after trash was picked up.

Loading the dishes into the dishwasher...mind u, they did NOT use all those dishes for lunch, but they forgot to turn on the dishwasher the night b4...so...they only doubled their work. (Now ask them if they care)

Weird thing is, once they saw me taking pix they were MORE than happy to pose and ACT as if they clean like this daily...What a trip...I think ima lie and say I have cameras in all the rooms that way they forever think they r modeling and have to be on their best behavior and I stay happy with a clean house!!!!

My baby boy...what a messy eater...I looked a way for what I thought was a "quick" second and when I looked back he had his hands in his mouth and then all over his lil face, and this was the outcome...even covered in cereal he is the cutest baby boy on God's green earth!!! And I'm not just saying that because he's my son. lol. Well maybe a lil, but can u blame me? Look at those eyes, those lashes...he melts my heart. I'm in trouble when he get's older.

Turned my head for a second and caught my lil munchkin messin with the surround sound.

 

When I called his name and said "NO!" he thought it was just the funniest thing. "pfffft, check mommy out, pretending to yell at me, me of all people, her lil prince"

 

I love that my girls r very expressive in their choice of clothing...Lord knows I didn't have the guts as a kid. Bright pink skirt with green crocs?! All the while scootin round the block.

 

My littlest helper (when she wants to, which is NOT often)...notice her sense of style today, for the most part she is a FUNKY dresser from mismatched socks to mismatched shoes...today, however, it's mismatched genre...a church dress with healy's...gotta love her.

I"m in love

 

This lil boy has become such an important person in my life as any child should be for a parent...but it's been so long since I've had a baby in the house that now that he's here I can't get enough of him...He is such a joy to have in my life...he is so happy all of the time...he is so funny, I can tell he is going to have a sense of humor already...he is so smart, he is hyper and fast sometimes and it drives me nuts, but I wouldn't have it any other way. "They" tried to tell me that a mothers love for her son is different than for a daughter, and I thought I understood that until I met my son. THANK YOU GOD for this lil blessing in my life. He looks so much like his dad which makes me mis shim so much more right now. But I'm glad our love prodiced such a treasure.

No pic today

OK, I'm sure I'll be back later to post pix, but for now, I'm in a "typing" mood...I am about to embark on a lil journey I will name "Get to know me in 52 weeks"
. Each week I will upload one pic of myself with a lil description to accompany the pic. It's sort of a way for me to really get to know my camera, my talents, my lack thereof, my limits, and myself. I'm not a big fan of Me for certain reasons, but I am a work in process, and that's OK. I"m not sure if I will be posting it here or on Flickr...Flickr can be tricky and so I have to see if I want to spend the time figuring it out and if it's worth it. If not then I"ll be posting it here and maybe my myspace. This could be fun!!! Not sure the general rules, like if I have to take pix or if someone else can do it for me...either way it's ON! Might start tonight and post every Wed thereafter. We'll see if the baby allows me some time.

Man it's great having kids if not for anything but being my guinea pigs. lol. They don't mind either...as soon as I pop out the camera all I hear is "Mommy, take a picture of this"...and what better way to practice my photography skills? SO these r them...Ilana the oldest, Mariel the middle one, and Elias my son. He has no choice but to sit there as I snap away. Mwuahahaha!! And he is NOT hard on the eyes...this kid is so friggin adorable, and I'd say it if I wasn't his mother either, in fact I think I'd be plotting to take him from his mom if I weren't. I LOVE his face. So does everyone else...everywhere I go I hear "He has the cutest face", "Look at those big brown eyes", "Look at all that hair", "I could eat him up", "My he has long eyelashes"...lol. I gotta say, I do make em cute. lol. OK this was my total MOMMY moment. Till next time.

I got this for mothers day...I went to Macy's to get a makover for free and I got this for buying some stuff. I swear to myself I will be strong and say no, but I always walk away with some kind of debt. I have to be stronger. I didn't go too overboard, and I actally contemplated saying NO to the flower cause Lord know I do NOT like flowers nor do I know how to keep them alive...but today I went to water it and while the other ones were dying this lone flower was still standing and the sun was coming in the window just right so I ran to get the macro lens and snapped away. I don't like flowers but they DO make great subjects for photographing!! Orange is a pretty color if it's vibrant enough. So yeah this is my share for today.

Now for this lil Angel, I had to post a few of the ones I took of him...I LOVE babies. And he is such a cutie!! Got some new actions from MCP, and I'm lovin em'! Worth the money in my opinion when u have a 6 month old who is suffering from separation anxiety so that u can't get any work done, bought actions r SO NEEDED!

I have another photoshoot this Sun a mom and her 4 boys, now THIS I can't wait for!! More to follow.

Rubber Ducky

 
You're the one...u make bath time lots of fun...rubber ducky...OK u get the it...I like shots like this, so I took the chance when I saw it present itself. The lil blur in the back is a cute lil girl named Brooke and this is her rubber ducky. I'm really loving this picture taking thing...I'm pretty OK with it...I can't wait to get really OK with it. lol. OK...I have another one to post...yes 2 in one day I'm on a roll!! BRB...

 

Signed the girls up for some swim lessons...Not really thrilled about it, it's offered through the base and so it's cheap (JMO)...I rather have a ratio of 1 teacher per every 3 students, but in my kids class alone there is like 8 or 9 kids...so as the teacher teaches one the others get bored and start doing their own thing instead of paying attention. INCLUDING my girls. Waste of my money and I wont be signing them up for anymore, at least not with the base. ANYWAY...these r 4 pix I took of my girls. Chicken lil ova there in the orange bathing suit held the entire class up because she was scared to dive off the board...I was highly annoyed but didnt show it, not even when I YELLED "If u don't jump off, I'm coming to PUSH u off". Then we got the lil mermaid ova here thinking she's fly with her bursting out of the water...she knew the camera was on her...(I smell an oscar).

I'm waiting for my photoshop program to be sent (I'm getting highly annoyed with the seller)...then I can work on some more pix and post more often...I had a photoshoot the other day and the pix r still sittin in the memory card...Ever seen those commercials where the head of the person in the picture comes to life and they start talking about how they've been in the memory card for like EVER waiting to be printed? Yeah those r my pix right now.

School starts in Sept...I must say I'm stoked!!! About this semester at least...not too sure about next...Financial aid doesn't cover it and I refuse to put myself in debt taking out loans ESPECIALLY with the school I chose, the tuition is RIDICULOUS!!!!

Anyway this is my post for today...gotta go watch some netflix!!! I'm addicted to 24!! That's right, and I ain't afraid to say it!!

My 1st official photoshoot with a precious lil girl named Zoe...Well not really official since I wasn't paid, but none the less, I got some good practice out of this ons and I learned that I really like to let them go, no posing, just being themselves as if there is no camera. I LOVE this one, it wasn't planned I just called her name and BAM...I'm so grateful I got the shot. It was VERY bleached or BRIGHT so I have to tone it down a lil with some contrast and levels, I still think it could use some work, but for now this will suffice.

Speaking of paid...I'm working on pricing now. A bit difficult cause I don't want to screw people, but at the same time I don't want to cheat myself. Because what people don't realize is it takes MUCH work to present them with the pictures they love so dear and have up in frames...gas money, my time, post processing, framing, printing, etc. They just have no idea. I pray God brings serious people my way who know that they r going to get what they pay for. Hopefully my work will speak for itself.

So I'm learning to make and use collages on photoshop...I mostly just download templates and then mess around with them...this is not the best work, but lil by lil I'll get better...this is my baby boy eating carrots for the 1st time. I swear he liked it, but then he started making these "bitter" faces. lol. He's such a ham, he LOVES when the camera is on him...I better be grateful because I'm sure the day is coming when he start's yelling "Mom, ENOUGH already!!", but till then I'm having fun with my lil muse.
