I love moments like these

When we found out I was pregnant with baby boy, my husband was a lil worried because with this pregnancy I was VERY hormonal and didn't want him near me, so the fear was that our son would be born with the same disdain for him. lol. That couldn't be further from the truth. E has grown so close to his papi, and I am going to hate when he finally goes back to work next week and E will realize papi isn't there in the morning's anymore. He cries for him, he voluntarily walks up to him and kisses him, he plays with him every night, he only takes food from him, he loves his papi so much, and I LOVE moments like this one where he voluntarily gives his papi a hug...He is such a loving lil boy, and his best friend is his father, I pray they maintain this relationship throughout life!

Sunset shots

So like I was saying yesterday, I went to capture the sunset with the family and I got some great shots. It might just be me, but I swear that the sky in Hawaii is different than the sky in NY or Florida or anywhere else, it just has this certain characteristic. I just LOVE it here.

I'm not sure I need to even write something for each one, just take em in as I do on a daily basis. When we move from here in 9 months I am getting these all printed to hang all over my house.

kids + beach = too much sand in the hair

We went out yesterday after church to the beach, we wanted to get some great sunset shots...and BOY did we!!!! I will post those either later or tomorrow, I'm still going through all of those. But while we sat around waiting for the sun to set the kids had some fun at the beach, it has been a long time since we were at the beach...in fact it was E's 1st time...he didn't like the water coming to his feet, he kept running it was funny...and he kept licking the salty rocks and eating sand. lol. YUK!

Anyway here r some pix of our time...next week we will be better prepared with bathing suits and all.

Then he popped a squat there in the sand and had fun with the rocks, he is always collecting and playing with rocks, I LOVE having a boy:

This picture trips me out because they both look like each of us SO MUCH! My youngest M looks JUST LIKE ME, and my oldest I is the spitting image of her dad...MY GOODNESS!!:

I called out to E "LENGUA" (which means tongue in Spanish) and he turns to me with this face, the face only a mother could love:

I love when there are days like this, I LOVE this boy, I miss him when he sleeps, but then there are days like this day when it rained ALL DAY and he was so bored and had nothing to do but drive me up a wall. So when he finally fell asleep he was GONE. We moved him, talked to him, tried to wake him up and NOTHING, he was out like a light. As a matter of fact after I took this picture he ended up with his feet on the ground while still sleeping then he completely slid off and landed on the floor and STILL did NOT wake up. LOL. M and I had a great laugh. He makes us laugh even in his sleep:

The baby has arrived

These were all taken by my husband and post processed by me. But it's my blog and my baby so I'm posting it on my blog especially since M doesn't have a blog (YET). lol.

The baby arrived yesterday and let me tell you Fed Ex REALLY pushed the limit, they said by 5pm and they showed up at 4:50pm. But alas Mark is here!!!!

I bet the Fed Ex guy wasn't expecting a camera in his face:


I ran inside, grabbed the scissors and went to town on the box:

My sick Beauty, and handsome prince

My baby girl went back to school today after 2 days of being sick. Not really sure what was wrong, she had a fever, threw up once and her throat was hurting...she was fine this morning and went back to school. She was SO BORED and counted down the hours till her older sis came home these past 2 days. Amazing how you can miss a person and turn around and fight 10 minutes later. Once I heard the 1st fight last night I knew she was fine, and told her she is going to school in the morning, she was actually happy to hear it. lol

I learned that she does the same thing I do when I'm sick (Which isn't often) I tend to shake my leg to comfort me and in this pic she is clear but her leg is blurred due to her movement, poor thing:

Then he was off to his important affairs of the day; PLAY TIME:...climbing on things he should NOT be climbing on:

This one craks me up...it was taken with the fish eye and it cracks me up the way it makes his lil face look. I love how he peaks his lil head through!

Today I am awaiting the arrival of my new baby...his name is Mark...I have been wanting him for a long time and now the wait is over...as soon as he arrives I will take pictures of him and post!!!!!!!!

Sick girl, and nothing to do

My baby girl Mariel is home sick for the 2nd day today and I am a nervous wreck. I always get like this when one of my kids get sick, I need to just pray and stop being this way, but I can't help it. My stomach is turning right now and she's laying here watching Noggin (to appease my son). To get my mind off of things for a bit I have some pictures to share...

So Mariel had her last soccer game this Tuesday and THEY WON...so they ended the season UNDEFEATED!!!!!!!!! I was screaming so much during this last game because it was so close but they won 9-4...WHEW...let me tell u EMOTIONS WERE HIGH, my daughter didn't block one of the balls from getting in and she was so mad she cried, we had to calm her down, poor thing has my competitive nature. During the game Mariel and Fiona sat out (THEY both were NOT happy about that, lol:


After the game they had their end of season party but not b4 having their last huddle:

Instead of Trophy's this year they got lil soccer picture frames with a picture of the team, and a pin...Mariel really wanted a trophy but when the saw the frame she was happy:

It was a pizza party...can u see all the boxes of pizza in the back? Lord, we (the parents) were able to take a box home after, I had them scream "UNDEFEATED" while I snapped this one, my daughter was more than willing, as u see she's the only one with her mouth WIDE open per usual along with her team mate Annalisa (Mariel is on the left):

Now this picture is a bit sad, I wont be winning any mom of the year awards anytime soon, as I was snapping away at my son I got this one NOT realizing he was actually choking...Yeah great job mom!!:

He was fine, right after I realized it, I put the camera down and stuck my finger in his mouth to pull the wad of pizza dough out, he eats like it's his last meal, sheesh!

B4 leaving I was able to get the girls together for one last shot together, can you guess what they're screaming?:

OK let me go tend to my sick baby girl. She swears she won't ever eat Pizza again because she got sick the morning after the team party. lol. Poor girl. We all know that's a lie.

Out and about

I really like having my husband home with me, I think I'll hurt his other knee so he can stay longer. lol. I'm going to miss him when he goes back to work. We've been hanging around, driving places while the kids r at school and snapping pix of all we see...yesterday we went to a place here called the Ward Center sort of an outdoor mall area, and in honor of a friend of mine who first brought me here, I went to:

Where they have the best Clam Chowder I have ever had...YUMMO!!!:

Not sure y, but I'm fascinated by light's and old lamp post's...I'm sure these aren't old but they look old.

We passed a pet store and I cracked up when I saw this Dog bed:

On the way home we stopped by Sand Island and got some cool shots, I love Nature, I really do, God never ceases to amaze me:



I've been looking for tall grass and weeds for photo shoots, and this is as close as I got, but it was full of litter...Nice (NOT). I'm still on the lookout though.

This was taken with my fish eye although u can't tell, but I LOVE the way this lens and my wide angle make the sky just POP!
