Saturday nothings, and some creatures lurking about.

Random things...

Found this lil guy in my kitchen and he's been there for 3 days now...and I realize y...he only has 6 legs, maybe he's dieing?


Then, I got out of the shower yesterday and when I opened the curtain I saw this lil guy IN THE TOILET! lol. Poor lil guy, he's still here today this time he's on my window sill I post those later or tomorrow.


And this one, I couldn't resist taking...I love seeing boy toys all over the house, this house has been full of girly crap for too long. I LOVE his lil Handy Manny tools. Meet squeeze:


ANd lastly...OH BOY the safety gates r no longer safe, he climbs them, and now he tears them down...Now I'm really in trouble, there's no stopping this kid. U see his face? As if he's accomplished some great feat. lol.

Breaking all the rules

I told you I was a rebel, I can post whenever I want...I'm trying to convince myself really because it feels odd to post more than once a day. lol.

This is a CLASSIC moment at home. My girls love to wrestle and E wants to join in so bad, and I was lucky enough to catch this shot of him contributing by screaming. FUNNY! Wish u could have heard it though...NOT funny, but LOUD and piercing. He needs to man up with them screams. lol.

Hey look, it's my kids again

I took a small hiatus from photography so I can give my new camera time to come in..I'm NOT a patient person, but I think that's y it's taking this long, The Lord is granting my one wish to learn patience. He has a REAL sense of humor, my God. Anyway, while I wait...I take pictures of my live in models and I play with new actions, textures, colors etc. So here r 3.

My lil clown, he truly brings me joy, I miss him at bed time. He is helping me with this funky depression I'm in. He cracks me up, and he knows he's doing it, that's what makes it funny. He is a character.

This is my oldest, no need for introductions though, by now you should know my blood type with how much I post about myself...if not, it's O+. Ilana is my baby girl, my 1st born, always trying to please me and her father. She's such a good girl. She is the spitting image of her dad. (but with my huge eye balls, poor thing), in fact all my kids have my eye balls, what a thing to pass along: EYE BALLS.

This one...Lord help me with this one, my dad makes jokes and tells her she's going to be a lawyer and I agree. She ALWAYS has to have the last word, forgetting, sometimes who I am. Til I put her in her place again. She is a lil spit fire. She is ALL ME and I know that means I have some fights ahead of me with her, but I hope we maintain a good relationship no matter what!

Tired of Hawaii yet? I'm not

I woke up early yesterday (def something to write home about) to take Hubby to work so that I could keep the car since we lent our van to his friend, and I needed to take E to his dental exam; and no one told me what I was missing all this time. Will it get me to wake up early more often? Um, I'll get back to you on that one...

This reminds me of what I think California looks like from the movies I've seen, I could be wrong.

This is an old church on base, I need to do some research about this one. I wonder if it was here during the pearl harbor attacks? Hmmmmmm.

So today began Mariel's new season of soccer and the girl GOT DOWN!!! Her team won 5-2...I have more shots that I'll post later but I wanted to get this one in cause she looks GREAT! lol. She is really good at sports, like her dad!

Double post I know...

I asked my girls to watch their brother this evening as I went to make some dinner...and I came back to find my son wrapped in their old Hula wraps, and thank Goodness I came in when I did because they were attempting to wrap the grass skirt around him next. Poor guy. lol.

A few trivial joys of mine

Just thought I'd post just SOME of the THINGS (not people at the moment) that make life away from family a LIL easier, or make it worth getting out of bed for...

Organization...I like things in their place, granted with 3 kids and a busy husband, it's not ALWAYS this way, but when it is it makes me smile...To open my cabinets and see order brings me a lil joy (Pathetic I know):

Along the same lines as order is organization...we have this calendar hanging up with all of the to do's for the next 2 months...helps me count down my time left on island too.:


This is not so much a joy per se as it is a comforting reminder of my family...after dinner we always have coffee and some snacks, my fave?

This is DEF my saving grace through out the day...it's my only way of staying in touch with my peoples.

New actions, and textures

I got some new stuff for photo shop and I wanted to test them out...Of course I had to use my all time fave male model. Did I mention I LOVE Photography?

Windward side of the Island

Every Sunday we take drives around Hawaii...I think I explained that in another post...so yesterday we went to the windward side of the island where the Marine base is...OMG this is the most amazing place ever...BEAUTIFUL...I WISH the base I'm on was on that side. It is a beautiful place and if I had my way we'd retire on that side of the Island and live til we died. But I love and miss my family too much. This is by far the best assignment we've had. I have seen God's glory while on this Island...and if they call THIS paradise can u imagin heaven? WHEW! Anyway here r a few shots from our journey (I use the term few lightly):

These were all shots from on base...can u imagine living next to this, or having this in your backyard? We drove by a few houses and some people even built lil decks to sit up on to see this view every morning or night...I'd LOVE to live near the water like this, to be able to hear the ocean every night, to lull me to sleep. I love this place. I think I will make more trips to this side of the island more often.
