Every Sunday we take drives around Hawaii...I think I explained that in another post...so yesterday we went to the windward side of the island where the Marine base is...OMG this is the most amazing place ever...BEAUTIFUL...I WISH the base I'm on was on that side. It is a beautiful place and if I had my way we'd retire on that side of the Island and live til we died. But I love and miss my family too much. This is by far the best assignment we've had. I have seen God's glory while on this Island...and if they call THIS paradise can u imagin heaven? WHEW! Anyway here r a few shots from our journey (I use the term few lightly):
These were all shots from on base...can u imagine living next to this, or having this in your backyard? We drove by a few houses and some people even built lil decks to sit up on to see this view every morning or night...I'd LOVE to live near the water like this, to be able to hear the ocean every night, to lull me to sleep. I love this place. I think I will make more trips to this side of the island more often.
