1st here we r in the elevator from the parking lot...lol. I couldn't resist:

Now I need some help with this...what on earth r these 2 fruits?:

anyone? lol
The next two r faves of mine because it transported me back home as many things do these days since I am homesick. I'm home sick all day every day. Anyway, here they r:

This one "Cracks" me up, apparently they sell this here...I'm sure it's something else but I couldn't help but think "WOW":

And NOW I know where they come from...u know those people, u deal with them on a daily:

This wasn't taken in China town but I had to add it. lol.
And lastly my girls, Mariel's acting like an annoyed teenager listening to her music so that she doesn't have to hear mommy or papi yelling lol, she's even got the look going on...mom remember that look? lol:

If u look close u can see me in Ilana's eyes. lol.

Asta manana!
As far as the fruits go... One of the bigger spiky ones looks like a Jack Fruit. Terry's mom bought one when they visited. I thought it was nasty. Kind of like snot in your mouth. Uck! I'm weird about textures.
ReplyDeleteThe small reddish ones I've had before. When Jan used to live next door she brought some over to me. The flavor was decent but they looked like little eyeballs and I couldn't eat them because it felt like what I thought chewing on eyeballs would feel like.
AMY u made me laugh so loud...U r hilarious! EYEBALLS? LOL!!!!!!!! Now I know to stay away from both!!! Not a fan of snot int he mouth. LOL!
ReplyDeleteDurian= nasty, stinky, funky fruit. I've seen several people on the Travel Channel try to eat some and they all about choke on it.
ReplyDeleteSo I'm DEFINITELY not going to be trying this fruit anytime soon. I'm already not really a fan of fruit, no need to worsen it.
