I love his lil feet, wont be long b4 those feet grow, and I will miss all things "baby" about my boy. Til then I enjoy every moment of his childhood, of his innocense.
...a quote from one of my favorite movies "Fools Rush In"...but that was the case yesterday, everywhere we went we saw people with signs...or handing out fliers...got a few shots:
We had people with signs about guns, no idea what that was about and actually didn't care but he fit the profile: Then we had the Japanese tourist guide ova here with his sign (advocating for the guns, I'm assuming), who knows what it said? No Seriously, WHO KNOWS? Anyone?:
Saw a cool sign...I can't escape my destiny:
And then my all time fav sign of the day...If none of u have seen the video check it out here:
Thought it was cool that he tried this here in Hawaii although I followed him for a few blocks and not one person took him up on his offer, WOW! Then we had the usual street performers, although I have to say none of them can measure up to the great talent we have in NY at the grand central subway station, those guys draw a HUGE crowd!: We had the guy with the parrots, they were so cute, but did nothing at all: Then we had the typical instrument player on the street, he was taking too long to perform so I got him getting ready, I had places to be and unsuspecting people to photograph: Now this guy was pretty good...he just stood there like a statue and My oldest got creeped out at first because she believed it was a statue and when she got close he moved and she hid behind me. lol: She was impressed, but I had to pay for it: And he was grateful: This guy wasn't performing, but I thought it was funny that he was in a business suit and was about to unlock and ride is lil scooter: Hey look it's ME: Couldn't resist the bokeh, will these shoes EVER go out of style???: And when we arrived back home we were greeted with God's Promise:
It was fun to watch these 2...I finally found a couple married for as long as I have been (Almost; they have 3 yrs on us) and still know how to have fun like we do too.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one! I love the wrestling moves! "You got served" lol.
Love the sexy sleepy eyes goin on here Ang. The "Don't mess with me" look. Oscar looks like he's so mean, but he's not I swear. lol. This one is SO cute. They did this on their own too!! Spontaneity, LOVE IT! I'm kind of feelin this one too!!
I have more that I am going through now. I had so much fun guys, thanx again for allowing me to capture the true YOU.
Oh the fun I had with my friend Angela and her husband Oscar, I LOVE fun couples. All 3 of us were nervous, Can ya tell? NOPE! I had the ultimate models who made it so easy for me to snap away. I get nervous b4 EVERY shoot...but fahgetaboudit we had a blast...here r some sneak peaks!! Enjoy Ang and Oscar!!
Thank you for allowing me into your home and into your personal lives, I had a blast...more to come...
Did you ever wonder what it would be like to have TWO of me? Double the heartache, double the trouble, double the laughs. I used to run into some people that resembled me, there was this one girl that scared me because she looked so much like me, I began to wonder if my parents didn't tell me I had a twin and they gave her up. lol. I still remember her first name "Hope". I think two of me would have been cool. I always wanted twins, but it just wasn't in the cards for me, the closest I got was having my daughters back to back, and till this day I STILL get asked: "Are they twins?"
So now I took it upon myself to create my own twin...she helps me a lot...I read, she takes notes, I wash, she dries, I take a break she takes the kids...I WISH! Anyway meet Anital (Latina backwards, yeah I'm so original):
I'm headed to the beach again this morning, although it seems rather gloomy so far. Not sure I'll be bringing my camera this time because the salt air was KILLER to get off my lenses and camera, so to save myself some time and pain I think I'll leave it home, I need to get my myself a lil point and shoot camera for occasions like this.
These r from last weeks trip to catch the sunset...
It looks as though they r praising God:
And of course, a trip to the beach wouldn't be a trip to the beach if Elias wasn't eating sand or licking rocks lol, YUMMY: Off to the beach now...
Tired of the beach yet? I'm not, I think you're going to be seeing LOADS of beach pix here in the next few months. I need to get my fill since we leave soon.
I wasn't even really trying to get my kids in this and didn't realize what they were doing until I came home to process the pix.
I think this pretty much shows their relationship at the moment...Elias being the ham, being funny, exploring, being curious and his big sisters standing by to watch over him and make sure he doesn't get hurt, and to laugh or applaud the silly things he does. I love my kids, I really do. I can't complain, aside from the normal everyday annoyances with the fighting, and the occasional non compliance with my rules or the chores they r pretty well behaved.
I always thanked God that they were this way, that I never had any problems with them as babies no tempter tantrums, no disrespect, they r good girls. My son, however, is a whole other story...he throws the ONLY tantrums that get me going, I seriously sit there while he's throwing himself on the floor, stare at him and just pray. He is my most challenging one, and I know God gave him to me last for a reason. He knew that if I had him 1st my girls would have never been born. He is a HANDFUL to say the least, but I am SO in love with him. Not a day goes by that he doesn't make me laugh out loud, or smile.
Thank you God for blessing lil ol' me with 3 great kids.
On the way to the beach, we saw some beautiful sights, sights we've seen before, but sights that NEVER get old. It was a pretty windy day:
All the blues, my fave color! Then we finally got to the beach, and I like this moment: Typical names in the sand that I plan to print out and hang in their rooms in our new home:
I have always wanted to try this, and it worked!! YAY! It's just a matter of messing with the shutter speed. I'm going to keep trying this with every body of water I come in contact with, even the bath tub. lol. It doesn't even look like water right? It looks like that smoke that comes off of dry ice. HAPPY SUNDAY...the weather is great here, beach here we come!
Yesterday we had a nice morning...the girls were off to school, I was actually out of the bed b4 9am (WOW, that's BIG for me), and we sat on the back porch with some coffee, toast, and sunlight. What a great morning, in fact that day was the best ever, one of the many things I will miss about living in Paradise: Had my boy all dressed up representing my hometown of the Bronx: I let the monkey play with his favorite elements, earth and rocks while still looking cute in his puppy shoes:
Then we went for a lil walk, trying to capture some sun burst's: and played a lil Peek-a-boo, lol: Then today; we went to the Hickam beach...And it was great, tide was low so we were able to go out farther than normal and the kids had a great time, especially handsome face: I got some great shots of the girls, that I want to blow up and hang in their room at our next destination so they will always have reminders of the great time we had while living in paradise:
