Mariel had a game yesterday and I'm not sure what she ate for breakfast or if someone spiked her water during half time, but the girl (and her teammates) were ON FIRE yesterday!! They won 15-ZIP!!!! I was screaming so loud (I'm pretty competitive) and I'm sure I got on the losing team's nerves, especially with the moms. But MAN the game was good. And what was best was that the girls were having fun. I missed some good shots because I was so busy watching and screaming. Oh and even funnier was that she was playing against her old team. I think Mariel has truly found something she is really good at, it keeps her attention long enough and calms her down. (I think she is seriously ADD, but I'm no doctor.) She came home and actually asked if she could sit down and watch soccer on TV to get better, talk about motivation and discipline. I'm so proud of her!
Of course these shots r only of her, I have to get permission from the parents to post their kids cause we got some good shots of them too. Mariel scored 3 of the 15 and assisted with 3 or 4 of the others.
